Society for Promotion of Youth and Masses (SPYM) is a nationally recognized organization with over four decades of experience in community mobilization, health care, livelihood enhancement, and socio-economic development. Committed to empowering disadvantaged and marginalized populations, SPYM ensures access to quality services that foster physical, mental, and social well-being.

Understanding the critical role of agriculture in India’s growth, SPYM has actively engaged with farming communities—training youth from agricultural families, supporting sustainable livelihoods, and providing essential health care to farming households.

SPYM’s work spans past and present operations in Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, West Bengal, Kerala, and Lakshadweep. To date, SPYM has directly impacted over 1 million beneficiaries through programs in health, shelter, rehabilitation, youth training, and socio-economic development.

In recognition of its sustained contributions, SPYM holds Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations, reflecting its global credibility and commitment to social progress.

SPYM works at the state and national levels and is focused on the following domains:

  • Prevention of Drug use and rehabilitation of children and youth dependant on drugs
  • Healthcare (Reproductive & sexual health, HIV/AIDS, etc.)
  • Intervention with street children on life-skills & education
  • Community Development
  • Training & Research.

SPYM is granted tax exemption under 80 G and 12 A of Income Tax Act.

We are registered under the Society’s Registration Act of 1860 with Registration No. S-16824 and holds FCRA registration with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India.
