We, SPYM are national organization with a countrywide network, working in the area of community mobilization, health care and socio-economic development for over three decades.
We endeavor to empower the vulnerable and the marginalized population by facilitating the access to services in order to improve their physical, mental, social well-being and holistic development.
We have opened our first Drug Treatment Centre in 1985, a first of it’s kind in North India. A systematic and comprehensive approach towards those who wish to cease drug use benefited thousands of individuals over the years.
We provide both Inpatient and Outpatient treatment services for Substance Use Disorders among adults in India.
We are the only organization in the country providing specialized drug treatment services for young adolescents and for juveniles in conflict with law.
SPYM works at the state and national levels and is focused on the following domains:
- Prevention of Drug use and rehabilitation of children and youth dependant on drugs
- Healthcare (Reproductive & sexual health, HIV/AIDS, etc.)
- Intervention with street children on life-skills & education
- Community Development
- Training & Research.
SPYM is granted tax exemption under 80 G and 12 A of Income Tax Act.
We are registered under the Society’s Registration Act of 1860 with Registration No. S-16824 and holds FCRA registration with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India.
